Educate
Terra Segara Indonesia Foundation is dedicated to educating the local young people of Nusa Penida about its Marine Protected Area and the underwater life. Our workshops focus on environmental conservation and the importance of preserving the marine ecosystem.
Preserve
We are committed to preserving the rich Balinese culture by organising traditional arts and cultural events. Through these activities, we aim to instill a sense of pride and appreciation for the local heritage among the young generation of Nusa Penida.
Conserve
At Terra Segara Indonesia Foundation, we are actively involved in environmental projects to protect the natural beauty and biodiversity of Nusa Penida. Our efforts include beach clean-up, coral restoration, and sustainable tourism initiatives.
OUR APPROACH
Terra Segara Indonesia Foundation is a non-governmental organization based in Nusa Penida, Bali, founded in 2022.
We are committed to educating, preserving, and conserving life above and below the sea. Through a participatory, community-based approach, we empower local youth to understand and protect Nusa Penida’s Marine Protected Area and its rich marine ecosystems.
By combining environmental education, cultural preservation, and hands-on conservation, we work together with the community to safeguard nature and Balinese heritage for future generations.
